Thank you so much for coming today. I've tried to make it accessible as possible for you, but if you have any questions Mrs. Macias in the office is a big help. Mrs. Winter is the PE teacher and is a good help also.
Please don't be afraid to call me. Matthew 308 708-1189
I have made an easy day today using videos from youtube to teach if you're not a music person. HOWEVER, if you are a music person and want to do something else, feel free to use the books and resources in the room. All the tracks for the music books are on iTunes on THIS computer (look for the Silver Burdett Folder on the Sidebar). If you press play, it will play through the sound system.
Rotations: Specials rotate the same for each class. From music they will always go to PE and today you will always receive your class from library or counseling. I make them stand in a straight line outside music and thumbs up and eyes when they are ready.
Seating and Names: The grey notebook marked “Seating Charts” has the seating for every class in order of the day, as well as a schedule in the front. All classes besides Kindergarten and 1st Grade sit on risers, those two classes make a circle.
Discipline/BIST: If you have difficulty with a student, give them a chance to correct it. If you can tell they aren't going to be able to correct it, send them to the safe seat. The next level is the buddy room, which is PE. If anyone gets a safe seat or buddy room, please make a note of it at the bottom of this page under the "forums." Please make sure to hit "reply" after you type so the text is stored and it sends me an email.
Audio/Visual: Everything should be plugged in, and all you have to do is turn on the projector.
IF YOU ENCOUNTER ISSUES: Make sure the audio cable, the video adapter and the power cable are hooked up to the computer. To turn everything on, switch the power strip on that is attached to the computer cart. The audio runs from the computer so you can adjust the volume with the computer’s volume buttons on the keyboard (see illustration).
